Obituary of Phillip Maxwell Parsons

Age 89, of Cheverie, formerly of Hamilton, ON, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023 in Haliburton Place, Windsor, with family by his side. Born in Deer Lake, NL, Phillip was a son of the late Cyril and Julia M. (Manuel) Parsons.

He worked for many years at Stelco in Hamilton, ON but cherished his camp at Shoe Lake in Northern Ontario where he spent much of his spare time and eventual retirement. Phillip moved to Nova Scotia in his later years and continued with his love of the outdoors with his non-stop groundskeeping and handyman work at the cottage and his place in Cheverie.

He is survived by brother, David (Alleen) Parsons; nephews, Stephen (Alice) Parsons and Michael (Fiona) Parsons; niece, Natalie (Leo) Thornley.

Besides his parents, Phillip was predeceased by brother, Bernard Parsons.
