CLARKE, Dawn Lynn

 

Age 43, of Windsor, passed away suddenly Monday, October 21, 2019 at home. Born September 7, 1976 in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Daisy (Robinson) Clarke.

 

Dawn loved her job and was a dedicated and loyal employee of Superstore in Windsor. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her daughter Vera. She loved Vera very much and she was her world.

 

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Vera, at home; sisters, Tina Marr, Wolfville; Susan Gates, Hantsport; brothers, David, Montreal; Clarence Clarke; niece, Amanda Marr (Gary Steeves); great nieces, Madison Marr and MacKenzie Steeves, all of Halifax; and “Grampie” Freddie Sisco. Besides her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her companion, George Farrow; sisters, Ursula (Ed) Norris and Brenda Clarke; brother-in-law, Jerome Marr.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a service celebrating Dawn’s life will be held Friday, November 1 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Justin MacKenzie officiating. Interment will be held in Lower Horton Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Dawn may be made to a Trust Fund for Vera at Scotiabank, Windsor.
