Age 85, of Falmouth. It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Bill on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, where he had been a resident for the past three months. He was a son of the late St. Clair "Lew" and Elsie (Frizzle) Foley. Born in Windsor on February 20, 1931, Bill grew up on the "island." He was an exceptional hockey player and later turned his stick handling skills to golf. He won the Avon Valley Golf Course's top male honours in the early 1970's. Bill loved the outdoors and spent many happy days camping at Kejimkujik National Park and many hours on the water with a fishing rod. Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Faye (Brothers); daughters, Jaye P. (Rick) Bacon, Calgary, AB; Krista Foley (Jim Murtha), Sackville; Sue-Ellen (Chip) Peterson, Mt. Denson; son, Stephen Richards, Tracadie; 11 grandchildren; sister, Linda, Falmouth; brother, Sydney, Windsor. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by sons, Mark and Kevin Foley; brother, Frederick. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service celebrating Bill's life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, Rev.
