Obituary of Reid Douglas Sherwood

Age 72, of Mount Denson, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Reid was the son of the late Herbert and Doris (Crowe) Sherwood.

Reid had a love for music and could even be found playing drums with a band. When he was home, he was an avid sports fan, and loved watching NASCAR and cheering on his favourite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays.

Reid is survived by his siblings, Bill (Linda) of Edmonton, AB; Michael (Lynn) of Mount Uniacke and Joan Brown of Mount Denson; nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Tammy, Michelle, Pamela, Christopher, Jeremy, Stephanie and Patricia; several great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Allan.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Reid’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
