Obituary of Gordon Leroy Peach

Age 83, of Windsor Forks, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, after a short battle with cancer. Born on August 11, 1942, in Windsor, he was a son of the late Owen and Lillian (Williams) Peach. 

Gordon retired from the Fundy Gypsum Co. after 35 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and shop foreman. During his spare time Gordon enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His many hobbies included bowling, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also took pride in his workshop and tinkering on one of his numerous projects. Gordon was well liked and known by many in the community as he could often be found lending a hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his partner, Gwen Walsh; sons, Glenn (Lorianne), Mt. Uniacke; Joey, Windsor Forks; grandson, Ryan; granddaughter, Megan; sister, Gladys (Lawrence) Hogan, Brockville, ON; and several nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Shirley Hunter and brothers, Fred and Ken. 

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor. A private family interment will be held in Windsor Forks Cemetery at a later date this summer.
