Obituary of Ross Keith Skinner

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by family and listening to his favourite music. Born on June 13, 1948 in Ernestown, Ontario, he was a son of the late Keith and Ethel (Peters) Skinner.

Ross was a hard-working man who never missed a day at work, for many years, he was a foster father and loved looking after children.

He survived by his wife, Dorothy Ripley Skinner; children, Shawn (Amanda), Berwick; Jennifer (Doug Lightfoot), New Minas; Dylan-James, New Minas and Robert Ripley-Skinner, New Minas; grandchildren, Rebecca-Lynn, Grace and Cohen Skinner and Eden and Charlotte Herridge; great-grandson, Gideon Herridge. Ross will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Sharon, Jimmy and Karen all from Ontario; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Ross was predeceased by siblings, Grace, Ronald, Gordon, Keitha and Carmen; as well as his beloved cat, Molly.
