Obituary of June Clara Levy

Age 94, of Falmouth, formerly of Windsor, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Lockhartville, on September 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Arch and Clara (Croft) Schofield.

June was a loving devoted wife and mother and caring for her family was her main goal in life. She loved to play bingo and go dancing, as well as, knitting and embroidering. She and Arnold would attend every Saturday night dance they could. She was also a member of the Windsor Legion for many years. June was a good friend to many over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Martin; grandchildren, Natasha (Mark Thorne) and Sarah, Kathy Martin; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Maya Clapperton, Maddox Thorne; sisters, Corena Walker and Carol West; brother, Kempton Schofield; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her husband Lewis “Arnold”; daughter, Marlene; sons, Basil and Christopher; brothers, Clarence, Keith, Basil and Carlton Schofield; sisters, Eileen Boutlier and Myril Selby.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service in memory of June will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4. Burial will be held in Greenfield Cemetery, Kings County in the spring.
