Q: What will you never forget about Marilyn?
A: Marilyn was very hospitable and not just with her family. As a child our family spent many winters ski doing on the lake, having bonfires and having delicious meals and making homemade ice cream on the deck.
As we grew up we appreciated her as an educator and Ken was a carpenter but the family always came first. When I went to Bedford Central School I spent many lunchtimes at their home as well. After growing up and moving away we lost touch for about 20 years but when we moved back we reconnected over family events. Mostly anniversaries and milestones. Marilyn was always a loving, compassionate person and will be missed by many friends and family. Thinking of you Ken abd kids as you grieve the loss of the love of your life.

Ken and family,
I taught at both Beaverbank Kinsac and Beaverbank Monarch with Marilyn. She was a wonderful colleague and friend and a very respected teacher.
I also remember walking through the woods with Marilyn near your home looking for a waterfall. I can not remember if we found it!
I’m sure you have many wonderful memories to give you peace at this time.
