My sincere condolences to all of Dana’s family. Our family has known Dana's family pretty much my whole life. He was a great friend and we always had a ton of fun ( especially when I lived with him for a bit on Hillcrest Drive). Rest easy my brother! You will be missed!

Such a shock to see this. Back in the day when I needed a ride home from Windsor he was always there. Just the kindest man. Great times driving around in his mustang listening to The Cars. In later years we reconnected through LE SHAW when my grandson Jer went there and again in Hantsport. Rest Easy Dana.
The good ones seem to go too soon.

Condolences to all family members and all friends of Dana who are hurting at this time. I'll miss my Uncle Dana very much. He helped me out more than a few times when I was just starting out as a young adult/teacher in Windsor. If my old truck was not working well or had a mechanical issue, he'd have one of his good buddies have a look and often fix it on the cheap for me. He'd also lend me his car if needed. He allowed Rosie and I to use the old Taylor camp whenever we wanted, often taking his dog, Lee with us for the weekend. My first date with Rosie was actually doing my laundry in his basement. ;) Dana was always someone I could count on and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Rest in peace Uncle. I'll cherish all the memories. xo

Darlene, Dean, Pam and families,
Our sincere condolences. Dana could not have asked for better care and comfort than he received from you. Even his Toronto Maple Leafs bedding.
Great tribute to Dana! Think I heard about every fishing trip up north with Dean and his nephew upon his return. And you could see his face light up how much he enjoyed it. Dana of course played a major part in our farm activities for so many years, one of the first to show up and usually the last one to leave to insure everything was taken care of. We had so many enjoyable pumpkin adventures and road trips over the years,
Niagara Falls, PEI, and Shag Harbor to name a few.
He surely is going to be missed but memories will always carry on. RIP my friend.

I didn’t know Dana very well but anytime i seen him around school, he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. Anytime i did talk to Dana he was always very kind, to anyone who talked to him. I heard may of the other students talk about how they loved Dana and many other stories involving him. Dana will forever be missed.

I worked at AVHS for several years in the learning centre and several of the students from that class loved for me to take them down to visit Dana . He always had time to make their day and seemed to know exactly what each of them needed to hear. He had such a kind soul . My sincere condolences to his family .

I spent 15 years working alongside Dana at AVHS. I always appreciated Dana's support when we worked on projects together. He was a great guy- kind, helpful, funny and always made time to chat and connect with others. The staff and students alike were drawn to him.

I’m so sorry to Dana’s family, but I wanted to say if it weren’t for his kindness I would never have graduated.. he was so supportive and I remember telling him he wasn't allowed to retire until I graduated! Our family have many memories of you all when we were young and running around Hillcrest Drive. I actually think Dana’s first job was after school child care! Lol. He was a great sitter to my little brother, Derek, and our Mom thought so much of him.
