Of Windsor, formerly of Avonport, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, at the age of 93 with her family by her side. Born in Poplar Grove, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Davis) McLeod, and stepdaughter of the late Muriel (Kilcup) McLeod.

Eva is survived by brothers, David (Carolyn), Lockhartville; Scott (Pat); Lockhartville; sister, Audrey (Junior) Woodworth, Hants Border; nieces, Catharine, Jocelyn, Kristen, Gillian, Sheena, Janet; nephews, Richard and Trevor; cousins, Emma Faulkner, Currys Corner; Ada Gauvin, Montreal, QC; and sister-in-law, Jean Morine, Avonport.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Murray.

Eva was an active member of the Avonport Baptist Church, serving as Deacon and participating in church functions. She enjoyed picking apples in the fall, going to card games and still bowled into her ninety-first year. When not engaged in these activities, she spent time at home knitting, doing embroidery and crochetwork.

The family wishes to express our appreciation to Trevor and Karen for being Eva’s caregivers until she became a resident of Dykeland Lodge.
