Obituary of Susan Carola Dykens

Age 85, of Three Mile Plains, passed away peacefully Friday, November 28, 2025 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on December 6, 1939 in Windsor she was a daughter of the late Roy and Anna (Redden) Galley.

Susan is survived by son, Jaime (Gail); daughters, Sherri (Leonard) Bulger; Elizabeth (Dale) Young; Jeanne (Tim) Eagles; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Northup; several brothers and sisters-in-law and extended family members.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William “Billy”; grandson, Zachery Eagles and brother-in-law, Irving Northup.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Susan’s request there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hants Community Hospital Foundation, 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
