It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lacie Jayne Sullivan, of Curry’s Corner, who passed away at the age of 34 on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, after an extended stay in ICU, Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax. Lacie was born on August 22, 1991 in Edmonton, AB.

She is survived by her loving mother, Sherry Dunbar; brothers, Khoda (Tia), Katlin, Tyler Neufeld (Anna-Bell); grandmother, Sharon Crossley; great-grandmother, Edith Crossley; aunties, uncles, a niece, a nephew, cousins and the many friends that touched her life.

Lacie was predeceased by her sister, Randi-Rae; grandfather, David Dunbar; auntie, Shelly Dunbar; cousin, Natasha Coultis and step-grandfather, Herman McLellan.

An inspiriting soul, Lacie was truly one of a kind. She was a courageous young lady, always up tor a challenge and loved adventure. She carried her positive, grateful attitude everywhere she went and with everything she did, always ready for a laugh and a hug.

Some favorite adventures would be over night camping trips down the Red Deer River, riding her quad, water tubing, snow tubing and so much more.

Lacie very much enjoyed helping others any way she could, she also enjoyed her work program at New Boundaries involving a variety of activities.

She absolutely loved time spent with family and friends, drives and crusing around checking out scenery, stopping for picnics. She loved her Timmie’s coffee and was up for coffee and conversation anytime. She was a very huge fan of the Montreal Canadiens and enjoyed watching the games with her friends and cheering them on.

Lacie loved life to the fullest. Her spirit, strength and love will remain a guiding light for all who knew her. She will forever be cherished and deeply missed by her loving family.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A celebration of life for Lacie will take place at a later date.
