Obituary of Ronald Brenton Keddy

On Monday, November 24, 2025, Ronald Brenton “Ron” Keddy, passed away, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Ron was born on September 26, 1943 in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Brenton and Nora (Meister) Keddy.

After graduating from Acadia University, Ron returned to Mt. Denson where he lived until the passing of his father in 1983. At that time, he and his mother moved to the Gladys M. Manning Memorial Home, where he remained until his mother passed away in 2002. Ron then moved into a senior’s apartment in Hantsport where he resided until May of 2025.

Ron loved reading and listening to music. He had an extensive CD collection of all genres of music.

Ron is survived by nieces, Pamela Richardson and Mary Davies (Glenn); brother-in-law, Donald Anthony; as well as grandnieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Anthony and infant brothers, Robert and John.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Ron’s wishes, a private family interment will be held at a later date in the family plot in Mount Denson Community Cemetery.
