Obituary of E. Elizabeth Sanderson

SANDERSON, E. Elizabeth “Liz”

Age 86, of Enfield, passed away on Monday November 10, 2025 in the Palliative Care Unit at the VG Centennial Building, QEII, Halifax, after a short battle with cancer. Liz was a daughter of the late William Stockwell and Ella Mary (Strong) Alley. She was born on August 10, 1939 in Lockhartville, and brought up in Hantsport.

Liz is survived by her sister, Bernice Alley, Hammonds Plains; daughter, Annette Monteith and granddaughter, Katelyn Monteith, both of Lower Sackville; as well as other extended family members.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Alley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, Windsor (902-798-8317).
