I had the honor of knowing Nolan all his life, he was a smart, kind, positive and gentle soul. My family and his family share many memories together, from birthday parties, camping, swimming, hangouts and traveling together. We went to the San Diego zoo together to see all the amazing animals, it was a trip Nolan picked and it was an amazing trip. My memories of him will always be cherished, I wish we had many years more to make more, this is unfair to Nolan, he was too young to have to leave so soon. His smile and his geeking out will be my main memory of him. Sorry to Gill, Cole and Sidney and the rest of Nolan's family and friends, my sincere condolences.

Our favourite memory of Nolan was when he visited us when Bristol was born in the hospital. Just two at the time, he was filled with the most gentle and kind spirit that he carried throughout his lifetime.
As many, we wish we could do or say something to take away the pain and heartbreak you are all feeling. We hope you can find peace in the legacy Nolan has left on the many friends, family and community members he has touched. My best memory of Nolan is his love for music - reflected in the way he always wears his rockband t-shirts, memorizes incredibly long lyrics of his favourite songs, and at some point he started singing to us too!
