Obituary of Margareta Irma LeBlanc
Age 67, of Orleans, Ontario, formerly of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the Ottawa General Hospital, with her beloved husband by her side. Born on August 8, 1958, in New Waterford, Debbie was the daughter of the late Alton Irvin and Annie Christina “Tina” (Heinekamp) White.
Debbie was raised in White Settlement, Hants County and later moved to Windsor when her children were young. She met her wonderful husband, Luc, later in life and eventually moved to Ontario, where she adopted her chosen son and spent her remaining years surrounded by love.
She was a dedicated foster parent for many years in both Windsor and Ontario and cared deeply for every child who passed through her doors. Debbie also drove a school bus in Ottawa for six years and was adored by her students and their families. She was well known for decorating her bus for every holiday, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and Easter, bringing joy to all who rode with her.
Debbie loved filling her home with holiday decorations, especially at Christmas, when her house would be alive with laughter and the company of children. She enjoyed spending her spare time crafting, particularly making holiday centrepieces, wreaths and diamond art paintings.
She is survived by her loving husband, Luc; children, who meant the world to her, daughters, Tammy Weatherbee, Falmouth and Crystal Weatherbee, Orleans, ON; son, David LeBlanc, Orleans, ON; cherished grandchildren, Alyssa (Dustin) Boutilier, Windsor, Alexis Harvey (Brandon Berry), Falmouth and Logan Guerard, Orleans, ON; great-granddaughters, Jocelyn, Willow, Oaklynn and Reese Boutilier, Windsor and great-grandson, Jackson Berry, Falmouth. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends, as well as her favourite ex-sons-in-law, Monte Harvey and Joseph Guerard.
Besides her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her sister, Linda (White) Brown; brother, Irvin “Gary” White and infant sister, Irma Joy White.
A special thank you is extended to the compassionate medical staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for their care and support.
A service will be held at a later date in Windsor. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting: www.demontfamilyfuneralhome.ca
