To the Daniels Family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Elliott. We were deeply saddened to hear of his loss, and we want to share how much he meant to both of us.
Todd remembers Elliott fondly from his younger years—always generous with his time and talents. Whether it was helping us boys with a quick weld on our dirt bikes or offering a word of encouragement, Elliott’s kindness and quiet strength left a lasting impression. Later in life, Todd had the privilege of serving alongside Elliott on the Mill Lakes Watershed Advisory Committee, where his wisdom and dedication to the community, and protection of the environment continued to shine.
Melissa will always be grateful for Elliott’s unwavering support during her first run for MLA. His belief in her and his pride when she was elected meant more than words can express. He was a true champion of community and leadership, and his encouragement helped fuel her journey.
Elliott’s legacy of generosity, integrity, and community spirit will live on in all who had the honour of knowing him. We are thinking of you and sending love and strength during this time. We will miss his contagious smile.

We had the pleasure of becoming neighbours 23 years ago and count ourselves very blessed! Elliott, and all that lived nearby, made us feel welcome and part of the community!
We had many wonderful conversations as he told us the history of our home and many of his life stories. He was a wealth of information about so many things in life and offered much needed and appreciated advice about how to fix and tackle many a task as we renovated and moved our old house to a better position on the land.
Conversations with this wonderful man and his big smile will always be missed.
