Obituary of Eleanor Marion Redden

Age 95, of Martock, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Mayflower Meadows, Windsor. Born on March 19, 1930, in Leminster, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Marjorie (Maharney) Hebb.

Eleanor is survived by sons, Darrell (Ruby) and Rick (Grace Hatchard); seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her G-Nanny; brother, Lester; daughter-in-law, Elaine and son-in-law, Maynard.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ernest; daughter, Diane Martin; sons, Wayne and Ted; sister, Helen Hebb; brothers, Gordon, Russell, Melvin, Laurie and Francis.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Mayflower Meadows for their exceptional care.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 21 in Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King St., Windsor, Josh Noiles officiating. Please bring a chair and umbrella if required.
