Obituary of Anne Myrtle DeBaie

DeBAIE, Anne Myrtle (Blair, Melchior, Barry)

Age 90, of Windsor, passed away in her sleep on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. She was born on April 9, 1935, to Ellis and Elrena Blair and grew up in Belleville, ON. 

Anne married the late Leo K. Melchior and followed his career in both Victoria, BC and Halifax. She loved cats, playing cards, bowling and doing puzzles. She was talented at crocheting many items for her extended family, who knew not to call her when she was watching Jeopardy.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind children, Anna Melchior, Donna MacEachern, Eric Melchior, Tina Kelvey, Karl and Leo Melchior; grandchildren, Sarah MacEachern, Roger and Chris Kelvey, Kory and Connor Melchior; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Tyler and Gavin Kelvey.

We would like to thank the staff at Dykeland Lodge for taking great care of Mom. 

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no service or visitation.
