To The Family
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Ken's presence will be missed, especially at Windsor United where he gave of his time and talents for so many years.
His love for his family was evident and I know how much he will be missed but treasure the memories. It will be strange not to be able to see him sitting in his favorite pew each Sunday but he will always be there in spirit. xoxo

We are all feeling for our Crichton cousins at this time, and pray for blessings on them to help them through this.
For me, Sonny has been there throughout my entire life, and his passing is a big loss. In fact, he wasn't very old and still lived at home going to high school during my younger years. I remember being little and frequently going 'back to the tracks' to shoot his 22 at tin cans or whatever else we could find (and I was so young then that he had to hold up the front of the rifle for me, and I couldn't hold it steady enough to ever hit the target!), Sonny & I would stay up late at the little house up the road when they lived there to watch 'The FBI with Efram Zimbalist Jr' and other police type shows enjoying pop & chips for our snack until we fell asleep in the wee hours, being at Acadia on his graduation day in 1970, Charlotte & I going 'up the road' with Mom & Dad for some really fun times with both families together playing Crazy 8s for hours, having a surprise 25th Anniversary party at Sonny's for my parents, and the list goes on, far more than I can recall let alone relate here, but we all had some really great times together. My uncle Sonny has always been part of my life, and his moving on to the next life will be a big loss for those of us left behind.
So at this time, all we can do is mourn our loss, pray for his salvation, and remember all the really great times we spent together. And let our cousins in Nova Scotia know we are thinking of them.

I remember what a family man Ken was. Soft spoken as a cub/scout leader with a bunch of rowdy boys and a fella that always had time for a quick chat. My deepest sympathies go out to his family for his loss and a thank you for sharing him with us all.

In September of 1970, Ken, myself, and eight others were hired by The Income Tax Department, now known as the Canada Revenue Agency.
We were enclosed in a training room for approximately six months and were then unleashed on the unsuspecting public as " Income Tax Auditors".
We worked together during his Anvil Tavern period and I believe, until he started working with the West Hants Industrial Commission.
While I have not seen Ken since that time, I always remember him as a kind and generous man, who was a pleasure to work with.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Ken’s passing. He and I held similar roles within our respective CBDCs, and I always appreciated the professional kinship we shared. Ken was not only a valued colleague but also a formidable presence who helped shape the direction of our provincial association in many meaningful ways. His contributions, spirit, and friendship left a lasting impact and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
May you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the support of those around you. My thoughts are with you and his loved ones.
With sympathy,
Tricia MacNeil

To Kens Family: We send our heartfelt condolences on the passing of "Sonny". He was a wonderful gentleman in all of his lifetime ventures. FAMILY was his largest passion in life and beyond. Wentworth Rd. was our forever home in our younger years. Loved my connection with Ken with the CBDC...he was a very helpful mentor in my life through all of my business venture and also on a personal relationship. I will never forget him...always thankful to have known him. May Sonny Rest In Peace. Sending much love to his family.

Kenny and I met in the early 1990's, our having similar positions in our respective CBDCs. Always open to new ideas, we had many great discussions on how best to improve small business opportunities through our programming. He was always thoughtful in his challenging authority and standing tall for his CBDC. His commitment to his communities and the businesses herein was unparalleled. I hope he found happiness in his retirement years. He will be missed.
