Dear Connie,
I was so saddened to learn of your dear Grant's passing. I live around the corner from Murray Hill Drive, so I think of you quite often as I'm walking around the neighbourhood. I still call #37 Murray Hill, "The Sanford House". When I was babysitting for your family in my youth, I thought you and Grant were such a glamorous couple; so full of fun, love, respect, and laughter when you stepped out for the evening. You reminded me of Sherri and Art. When you moved to #18 Pauline Crescent, it was a babysitter's dream. The children were well behaved and you had a colour TV! I remember watching The Beverley Hillbillies, The Monkeys, and Sonny and Cher in colour for the first time. Whenever I see the NBC Peacock, I'm transported back to those nights at your house. Elegant and "cool", this is how I have always remembered you and Grant.
I often quote a phrase, the spirit of a loving heart lives on in the lives of those they have touched. Many lives have been enriched and blessed by knowing Grant. My sincerest condolences to you and the family.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of such an admirable man.
I had the pleasure of spending many of my teen years at the Sanford household. I remember Grant as a tall, strong and principled person. His competitive spirit, sense of humour and love of family are characteristics that have certainly contributed to the wonderful family he and Connie have raised. I will always remember Grant with great respect and affection and treasure my memories with the Sanford family. I know he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Lots of Love

Connie and all, we are so sorry that Grant is gone. We will miss seeing our good neighbour outside. When we first met him he was so busy always working on something in the yard. He was always ready to offer some tips on growing vegetables and even had his own vegetable patch for a while. In recent years he got to enjoy sitting in the outdoors and being able to take in the beauty of the yard he worked on. I know you have many good family memories with Grant that will keep him close to you.
Sending warm condolences to the entire Sanford family,
Jacqueline and Marshall
