Dear Susan,Russ and the Family,
Condolences to You All.
I remember your mother as the kindest, most capable person. No matter how busy, she always had time for others.Along with being a wife,mother,daughter,sister,nurse,etc..she was a great cook(I recall the pies and preserves covering your kitchen counter).Five children, working night shifts and there was home cooking and always a spotless house!
I liked and admired your mother. She will always be a part of my fondest Hantsport memories!

Dear Turner Family, I am very sorry that Maxine has died. She was my cousin through the Miller family. When I think of Maxine, I remember how her petite, dark features were so like those of my mother and my Bruce family. I last saw Maxine at the home of my mother, Midge Bruce MacAskill, in Kennetcook when we brought another Miller/Bruce cousin, Jean Anderson, from New Hampshire to meet our family. Mum always spoke warmly of Maxine and the Windsor days of long ago. I send special condolences to my dear cousin Rae. Losing the last connection of Don’s siblings will sadden her deeply. I shall keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve Maxine’s death while you also celebrate her wonderful spirit and love for her family.Blessings to all who love Maxine, Dawn

Being one of the 50+ Maple Avenue kids, Mrs. Turner was just one of those mothers we all had to listen to as if she was my own. All our Mothers were like that whether you lived at the top of the hill, the bottom or like me halfway between top and bottom. We have lost a precious soul who was one of two Mothers still living since those great days gone by. We were like in large family with lots of Moms and Dads. Maple Ave and the Turners will always be a part of my childhood memories. Mrs Turner lived a long and active life and enjoyed her friends and games to the end. Sue, Buddy, Steve, Mike and Scott, hold all those memories close.

I know your hearts are filled with mixed emotions now as you immerse yourselves in this journey. What a blessing Maxine was to you and to so many that she shared time with over these many years. I was blessed to have shared in a few of those years. Max and Harry were the best kind of people to have in your life. Laughter and stories along with good food was always part of the experience with them. I will treasure my memories of her and give God thanks. Rest well my dear friend.
