To the Family
I am thinking of you at this difficult time as you navigate a new normal. I always enjoyed my chats with Jamie. It wasn't hard to tell how proud he was of his children. Enjoy the memories knowing how much joy you brought to his life.

My deepest condolences to you all. I have so many memories Jamie, they all involve him being a true friend to our family-for me specially, Gumpy (Lindsie Baker) and my mother Celene. The laughter and adventures will always be remembered.

Jamie was a man who treated me like his own. We may not have shared the same flesh, but I certainly inherited from him my urge to travel, my curiosity, and my hunger to see the world. If I ever thought I pushed boundaries, Jamie had already gone further.
For me, Jamie was a bridge. A bridge between cultures, people, family, and friends. And even in his passing, he has brought us closer together. Some of us are here today after decades apart, reunited by the love and memory of one man. That is his gift to us.
I know you better now, because all of what you were is now part of me.
Rest easy, Jamie. Your spirit lives on in all of us.

Jamie and my dad .. alan were close friends .. he was always at the ready to talk and share his wisdom with all of our family . Many Times over the years I spent time with Jamie . I often see his eyes of wisdom in the people I meet .. I spoke with jamie after my fathers death ... knowing full well that he was the last phone call my father made . His words of love and understanding helped me cope with dads sudden passing . His smile and nature will not be forgotten .

I didn’t know Jamie well but my son was good friends with his son, so I had many occasions to have brief chats with him and he was always welcoming. My son spent a lot of time at his home and I know my son thought of him like family. I know he will be missed by so many. Condolences to his children, Karen and all who were close to him.
