Such a lovely man. Always a positive outlook. I enjoyed our visits so much over the years while helping with footcare.

I remember going to Horton HS and Larry was a little older and came back I believe. I remember him at the school Graduation Prom. He was a great guy and I had a lot of respect for him. That was about 1965. Haven't heard of him for years. Nice memories of him. RIP good friend.

Tim Tony and family. So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was one of the good ones. I didn't see him often as distance prevented that but was always so happy when they came to visit. Thinking of you all. Love from your ontario family

Our first meeting with Larry was when my Daughter Charlene moved to the Valley right next door to Larry and Irene. The grand children were then being cared for by Larry & Irene so we would visit them in the Valley many
weekends and sometimes during the week to see Keenan & Makayla
Donnie would spend time in Larry's work shop talking with him and watching Larry make furniture. Lawn chairs to tables Bird houses'
nothing he couldn't make. I would sit with Irene on the bench right out side the house waiting for the Grandkids to come from school right across the street. They always made us feel welcome. Donnie enjoyed Larry's company. The home environment there brought back many Happy memories of Donnie's life where he grew up in Halls Harbor. & My Cape Breton upbringing. Rip Larry A life well lived.
