'Character' would be a grossly understated adjective in this obituary, plus it's already a perfectly written summary of one of my most favourite humans ever...
I am so grateful for the time I was able to have with her! I wear a smile knowing she lived a life as large as her love was...massive! I met Celene about seven years ago and LOVED her within minutes of that meeting. It was always an absolute pleasure to do work for this woman. We often spent more time socializing after or during said work but she was so beautifully genuine to talk to, it couldn't be helped.
I'm happy she is at peace from this world and there is no doubt, she's alteady kicking it up in that next one.

Such a beautiful lady. Loved her jewelry. Always had something blink on. My husband sat at the same table for meals for the last 20 odd months. Will miss seeing her lovely smile and telling me that she loved me. RIP Celine.

Celine always had a great feast for everyone - no one ever left hungry. She was an amazing cook and her pies were the best!! Favorite memory was in Lac La Biche when the guys had water guns and were out to get her. Celine was in the house cooking breakfast and I ran in and told her Ali's horse was hurt. She came running out in her slippers and PJ's and the guys blasted her with the water guns. She must have jumped 5 feet in the air!! Everyone, including Celine, had a great laugh over that. She was always up for adventure and we so enjoyed many times of quading through the sand hills. Rest in Peace, Celine. Thanks for the great memories.

I’ve known Celene since we were five years old. We went on my Dad’s bus to school. She loved the outdoors! Living in a close knit community our lives were enter twined. She will be missed dearly.

Andrea and all the family. I remember Celene working on Panuke Road when I was just a child with her sisters.I idolized her. This is where I first got to meet her. Then she moved to the West Coast for a lot of years. The very last time I saw her was at Spitfire in Windsor Nova Scotia . I never ever forgot her kindness and her beauty . I'm just gobsmacked and writing thru my tears... Celene was a force of nature. She was mad at me once and called me Jarvis Christ. hahaha. We met at the Westlock Inn lounge where she worked in 1988 and she became like a little sis because we are both Bluenosers. She never quit being a mama, a hard worker, a friend (she called me Colly) and I missed her friendship when she left town.. I never went home to N.S. last year like I usually do. I wish I could've seen her one more time. My sincere prayers for the family to know peace about her passing. She's being a smartass in heaven I'm sure but the angels and the Lord at the throne will all love her to pieces!
