Obituary of Inez Dolores (Spidell) Lutz
Age 92, of Berwick, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, after an extended period of declining health. Born on October 25, 1932 in Barss Corner, she was the youngest daughter of the late Edward and Minnie (Spidle) Spidell.

She had a contract with Aldershot Camp as a seamstress for the Militia for a few years and did sewing alterations out of her home until her health became too poor to do so.
Mom and Dad were members of the Somerset Choir in the mid-to late 1970’s and she was also an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ortona Branch 69, Berwick where she and Dad attended many dances and volunteered at many functions hosted by the Legion. Mom was also a life member of the Barss Corner Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Twylla Ayling (Richard), Coldbrook and Kristal Levangie (John), Heatherton; grandsons, Heath Ayling (Madison Forsyth), Millville and Harrison Ayling (Trinity Chesley), Coldbrook; one brother-in-law, a number of sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and their families.

The family would like to thank Dr. Targett as well as the nurses and all other staff who cared for Inez while she was a resident at Evergreen. They helped to make her stay there more comfortable.
