

Obituary of Margaret Jean (Dill, Horne) Curry
We sadly announce the passing of Margaret Jean Curry on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. She was born on October 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late William “Dick” and Gladys (Parker) Dill.
Margaret was a member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church and for almost 14 years she called the Gladys Manning Retirement Community her home.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Skelhorn and stepchildren, Ann (Scott) Nelson, Barbara Curry and John (Deanne) Curry; several grandchildren, as well as many great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Joyce Davison and longtime friend, Marion McNeil.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Norman Horne and Leon Curry; sister, Maxine Pelletier; brother, Howard Dill and son-in-law, Wayne Skelhorn.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a service in Margaret’s memory will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 30, Celebrant Helen Lindsay officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
