Grant was a wonderfully kind man who always had a smile and a light heart. I always knew he'd probably be outside busy or driving around simply enjoying the presence of Eileen and the scenery of his home town if I called and he wasn't there. It was my privilege to know him, even for a short time.

I was a pre-teen when Grant and Eileen lived across the road from us in Upper Burlington. Then a few years later, our families were growing up together. Terry was often a welcome visitor at our home. Such wonderful neighbours and friends. So many memories - like watching Grant & Eileen glide around the dance floor and the skating rink, so in tune with each other, they moved as one. When I had my tonsils out one summer, Grant (being the tease that he was) thought I should have a huge tub of potato chips! I send sincere condolences to Eileen and family.
Much love from, Pat

Brad remembers Grant cutting his hair when he was a boy as well as getting him a summer job. It was the year Brad graduated from High School and he was hired as a helper doing mostly glass-store-fronts.
Brad and I both remember He and Eileen being good neighbors for many years. Whenever we had a yard sale Grant would come over and we'd have a great chat. Many times since they moved to Center Burlington they would pass me by, always waving when they did so. I looked forward to their Christmas cards as there was always a personal note in each. I especially appreciated the note on the sympathy card when my Father died. Grant's passing leaves us with a lot of fond memories.
Our sincere condolences to all Grant's family at this most trying time.
