Obituary of Richard Garnet Robar
It is with sadness that we announce Rick’s passing on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Osprey House 2, Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born on June 20, 1956 in Springfield, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late Garnet and Norma (Smicer) Robar.
Rick worked at Michelin for 35 years. He was a very loving and supportive man who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed music, music was his life. He loved singing for his family and friends and at different local events.
He is survived by son, Tyrill (Tiffany); daughter, Lee-Anne; grandchildren, Payton and Caylin; brothers, Tony and Andy; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Besides his parents, Rick was predeceased by his older brother, Mitch.
Dad stayed at the Windsor Elms Village Nursing Home on Osprey House 2. It was a wonderful facility and he had a great care team. They were amazing and professional. Thank you to Sherry Trimper, who stood by him for many years as he started his battle with Huntington’s Disease.
