Obituary of William Manson Pemberton

It is with sadness we announce the passing of William “Bill” Pemberton, age 91, of Newport Station on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Mayflower Meadows, Windsor. Bill was born in Newport Station on September 28, 1933, to the late Henry and Doris (Sharpe) Pemberton.

He will be sadly missed by daughters, Jocelyn, Karen (Andy), Shirley (Fred), Maria, Sara (Trevor), Julia (Dave) and Andrea; sons, Anthony (Donna), Bruce (Margaret), Philip (Heather) and Mike (Kelly); 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister, Kay Killen.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by wife, Fae; son, Stephen and brothers, Allen, David and Jim.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Mayflower Meadows for taking such good care of him during his stay.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Following Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment will be held in Ste. Croix Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to Mayflower Meadows, 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 or charity of one's choice.
