I can hardly believe this. It has come as a huge surprise. A very sad surprise. My treasured memories of Barb, my past sister-in-law, are when we were living in West Germany in the 1980’s. Barb used to take me grocery shopping, and we spent many an afternoon chatting over mugs of tea, discussing the latest movies that we could record on our VCR machines. I only waved at her as I passed her by in my car what seems like not too long ago…sometime this past winter? So terribly heartbroken that Barb has left us. She was the most caring soul and always smiling. That beautiful smile that I will never forget. She was always there for my children, her neices, when they needed her. I will never forget that. They loved her so much.
We had a lot of beers together and a lot of laughs....and yatzee!!! She always won.
