Obituary of Donna Elaine Hebb

Please share a memory of Donna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Elaine (Myra) Hebb, 82 of Leminster, on Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Ivy Meadows Continuing Care Centre, Beaver Bank. Born in New Ross on July 2,1943 to her parents, the late Noble and Gladys (Russell) Myra.

Donna was a talented cook and could make any heritage meal which she learned from her New Ross upbringing. She was a proud member of the Pentecostal Church family, promoting a ministry for many years at the little Pentecostal church in Leminster with her husband Frasher Hebb. Donna and Frasher would sing many duets in church and around the community. She was also an avid fisher woman and could catch her share of trout long before anyone else even got a bite. Donna and Frasher travelled and stayed many summers with the Department of Highways paving crews all over Nova Scotia and made many friends and long-term relationships.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Darlene; sons, Noble (Louise) and Darryl (Jenny); stepsons, Leon, Joe (Colleen) and Frasher Jr. “Buddy”; stepdaughter, Kathy. She has been blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Donna will also be missed by her brother, Billy.

She was predeceased by husband, Frasher in March of 2024; stepdaughters, Susan (Leon) and Cindy (Bud); sister, Sheila and brother, Laurie.

Donna and family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful nursing staff at Ivy Meadows for taking such good care of her and Frasher during their stay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation will be held 10 – 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel, Pastor George Campbell officiating.
