From Patricia and Gary in Calgary we want to send our condolences to Kathy and Rachel. Doug and I were roommates our first year away from home at the U of Sask and we continued a lifelong friendship (although Doug’s bagpipe practicing in our shared dorm room nearly caused an early rupture). I spoke with Doug 3 days before he passed, the last of our conversations over our fifty plus years of friendship. It was no easy conversation but he had lived a very impactful and good life as many of the comments here attest. We are very sorry for your loss Kathy and Rachel.
