Obituary of Frances Allen

Age 88, of Garlands Crossing, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre - Infirmary Site, Halifax. Frances was born in Halifax on January 11, 1937.

Frances’s working career was spent as a court reporter.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen, Garlands Crossing; stepdaughter, Pamela Allen; grandchildren, Keghan and Karlee Hinks, Jayden and Claira Young, all of Newfoundland,

Frances was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine Anne Smith and Beverley Margaret Ninos.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 7 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 585 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, Josh Noiles officiating.
