
Obituary of June Anne Cruickshank
It comes with great sadness the family of June Anne Cruickshank, 79, announce her passing on Saturday, March 29, 2025 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on Scott’s Bay, she was a daughter of the late Wylie and Josephine (Fredericks) Banks.
June was a homemaker most of her life.
June is survived by her daughter, Kim (Peter) Moore; sons, Bobby (Char), Donnie (Melissa), Jeff (Veronica); grandchildren, William Cruickshank, Clinton Cruickshank, Matthew Moore, Justin Cruickshank, Savannah Fleck, and Dakota Cruickshank; four great grandchildren, brother, Headley Banks.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; an infant daughter; sisters, Jean Cruickshank, Elsie MacPherson; brothers, Wylie Jr., Charlie, John, Lewis, Richard and Stanley.
June’s family would like to thank the staff at Dykeland Lodge for the loving care they gave to June, especially Judy Orde who was June’s friend and caregiver.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
