Obituary of Ronald Lewis Reynolds

Age 86, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor with loved ones by his side. He was born March 2, 1939, the oldest son of the late Donald "Lewis" Reynolds and Heloise Gertrude “Orie” (Smith) Reynolds.

Ron lived most of his adult life in Falmouth where he owned and operated a successful plumbing business for over 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce; son, Steven (Margaret), Upper Burlington and David (Sherri), Falmouth; grandchildren, Ryan (Jeannette), Stephanie (Shawn), Kyle (Kim), Jasmine (Jeff), Sara (Jason) and Andrew (Alishia); 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Danny (Marilyn), New Minas; brother-in-law, Ernie Singleton, Hants Border and sister-in-law, Mary Armstrong, Windsor; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by brothers, Clarey and Fred; sister, Fay.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Unit 200 at Hants Community Hospital for their care given to Ron over the last number of weeks.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, March 10 in the funeral home chapel, Celebrant Helen Lindsay officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. A private family interment will be held in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Rd., Falmouth.
