Dear Eleanor: Sorry for your loss. Think I talked to Ron once about his Barkhouse study. You and I know each other from Acadia. My grandfather was Archie Robin Chase, I believe son of James/Annie Chase (Berghaus); Ron was Gramp's nephew and talked about a lot when he became MLA as I grew up in Gramp's household. I think I saw my great grandmother in his study which I am reading at Hfax. Spr. Gdn.Rd. library. Eleanor, phone me or e-mail me some time as I'd like to discuss the German-Lunenberg study with you. I never had the pleasure of meeting Ron but he touched my life greatly. I began my research into my roots in New Ross over ten years ago. Over the years, Ron (and Vernon) supplied me with information and answered my questions via e-mail and regular mail. It wasn't just the facts he sent me but also his enthusiasm that brought alive my ancestors and their lives.
