Redden Family : Sorry for your loss. Haven't seen her for years, but I remember her working at McCarthy Restaurant with my Mom ( Winnie Rafuse ) and she was such a wonderful lady she treated me like gold and I have fond memories of her. She was one of the best.RIP Eleanor.

To all of Eleanor’s family, I would like to express my sincere condolences on Eleanor’s passing. She and Ernest were life long friends and in remembering all the happy times especially at the lunch counter drug store and with Ernest working, doing his carpentry work at the funeral home. Eleanor lived a long, rewarding life. Anyone who remembers those cinnamon rolls at Ruddick's Stationary and cafe knows they were Eleanor's! Rest in peace, Eleanor.

Darrell and Ruby, Rick and Grace So sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She put up quite a fight but now she can rest with her beloved Ernest. I first met Eleanor when she worked at the Taxi Lunch and even though I was just a young girl she always made me feel special. Over the years our paths crossed in many ways so there was always that conncetion. Hers was certainly a life well lived. Hugs to all.xoxo

So sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing although she lived a good long life. If anyone remembers ruddicks stationery store and the cafe they had, they'll remember Eleanor! She was responsible for those huge cinnamon rolls that were so delicious! Rest in peace, Eleanor.
