The first time I met Claude, I was walking my dog past their house. He was outside working on the front flower garden. This tiny little black puppy popped his head up. I immediately recognized the breed and had to see him. Janet was up on the deck, I hadn’t seen her at the time.
Well one thing led to another and we struck up such a fun conversation that lasted quite a time. The warmth and kindness that came from them both was palpable. Since that time I struck up a lasting friendship with the crew. They are genuine kind and caring folks. Honest to a fault and always there to help. I had never met anyone who could put up with so much discomfort and yet smile and joke like Claude. I have had my own health issue but they pale in comparison to what he had gone through. Claude always had a smile and was willing to joke and make you laugh. Claude seemed to love it when anyone would stop for a chat. Many times while I was out for walks I enjoyed stopping and chewing the fat with him. Janet often came out to say hi as well and then the trouble started, ha ha. Most times this ended up in a hour long visit. My chats and visits with both he and Janet were always enjoyable and Claude could always turn any story into a joke. His love for family was ever strong and you could see his pride for family emanate from his soul. I value dearly the friendship that started from this tiny puppy’s curiosity to see what was walking down the road. Claude, you will be missed in the 3D world we are in but your soul will never be far from our hearts and those you’ve touch. Your work is done now friend, rest in peace buddy! When we meet again!!!
