I just saw that Gene passed away,I life well lived for sure.
I-remember Gene fondly having had her as another'” mom”
Growing up.
Haven’t seen her for many years though thought of her on occasion.
My sincere condolences to Janice,Lynda,Michael,Ricky and Bobby and families .
I'd like to send my deepest sympathies and much love to my cousins, Richard- Susan,Mike-Pauline, Bobby- Christine,Janice, Lynda .. and extended family... Your Mom will always be remembered as a fun, sweet lady with a great laugh and quick wit! I enjoyed her and Finny's visits down home when i was little, as there was always much teasing and laughter! Big Hugs to you all and Gene you will be missed! Give Mom a hug for me as she will be happy to see you! Much Love!
I will forever remember Deedee for her beautiful smile, red Mustang, her love for the Toronto Blue Jays, kind heart and her quick witted sense of humor. I often enjoyed listening to her telling family stories over dinner or while baking her delicious " anything ". She would read or make up bedtime stories each and every night when visiting, these are my most fond memories.
I am heartbroken that she is no longer with us, but I know she is at peace up above with Grampy and the rest of our loved ones, watching over us.

I will forever remember your Texas visits. We had a great time at our lunches. I always loved when you came. Your quick wit was so much fun and the love you showed Janice was beautiful to see. I loved taking our pics together - me 5’9”, you not! LOL You were too cute! You made a lasting impression on me as has your daughter. Forever grateful to have known you! Rest well. Job well done!
I will forever remember the little things as they are the important things in life. The tearful hugs at the airport when you were headed back home after a visit. Sitting on the bench in front of the house in Texas watching the silly squirrels and then laughing because we spent about 15 minutes watching the squirrels. Shopping and picking out the most hideous things for each other. Stopping at Braums on the way home from the airport to get their chocolate frozen yogurt. Going to work with you on Saturday mornings when I was 6-7 and watching you work that switchboard with those long cords with plugs. Miss you and love you.
I remember Gene from our many visits to "mom's" home in Middleton. Her husband and my husband, Clark, who died just 6 days ago were brothers. My heart goes out to her children. I know you will miss her.
