We found out about Aunt Laura's passing on Christmas Eve. I have fond memories of staying with Gramma Dearman and Aunt Laura on many childhood visits (along with my Gramma Lantz). I remember going to a job site and watching her boss the 'big men' about. And her preference for slacks over a dress. As her namesake - I took pride in her independent spirit and sense of humour. I will miss her.

Sincere condolences to Laura’s family. I worked with Laura during many of her years at the town office and she always made accurate and consistent records of the council’s discussions and decisions for the permanent records of the council.

We have so many fond memories of her visits to Vancouver to see her sister Lillian. One that comes to mind is the cruise to Alaska that Yvonne, Lil and Laura took. may she rest in peace after a long and fulfilling life.
