My condolences Don, Jud, Jamie, Bobby and all the family. I just heard of Andrea's passing. I'm so sorry. Don, I guess I should have talked less when you and I sat in the car reminiscing and gone in then and visited Andrea. I remember saying, tell Andrea I'll be up again to see her; as it was nearing supper. I hadn't seen Andrea for years and one day I met her at Scotia Square. I received a big hug. We got together regularly from then on. Andrea always made it possible for the Maple Ave gang to get together at 7 Maple Av. So many stories, pictures and laughs. She never complained and always had that big smile of hers. I'll miss her dearly. Susan B

I have fond childhood memories of Andrea when she would visit her relatives, Jean and Carl Demings, at their cottage at Pugwash Point during the summer. Our cottage is next door. As kids, we looked forward to Andrea's and her siblings' visits and the fun we would have playing together, especially hide and seek in the dark.Throughout her life, Pugwash always held a special place in Andrea's heart...its memories and the chance to see and spend time with friends and relatives. What a wonderful tribute to Andrea as I read her obituary. She was indeed an amazing individual and loved by anyone fortunate enough to have met her. To the Porter/Stevens family. Andrea was a dear friend to all and I count her as one of my dearest and respected friends. She has known me since we moved across the street in 1956. That is just about my whole life. Great Maple Ave memories were made and remembered. She was the driving force to get the Maple Ave girls together for meals at her house after seeing most of us at my Dad's funeral in June 2013. What great memories! My special visits over these last few years will be cherished forever. There was nothing we could mot share and it was like a kindred spirit between us. I am shocked and saddened to read Andrea has passed...she was one of our babysitters going up...she also accompanied our family on many day trips to places like Ross Farm, up on the back roads in Gaspreau in her parents 63 T-Bird,the Look Off etc..in search of ice cream, even a trip to Cape Breton she was a great friend of my Mother and Aunt Marilyn for many, many years...she will be missed by many, she loved Hantsport and a great town supporter...sympathies to all her family but especially to Jud and Don...
