Each year St.Martha's School of Nursing Alumni gather together for a Banquet celebrating the History and the Friendships shared by the graduates of St. Martha's over the years... During the banquet The Graduation Pictures of Classmates who we have lost over the years are shared ~. Tomorrow 'Our Class of 1971' will sadly add Jane's Grad picture to the Memorial Table ~. Jane's picture will join those of 2 other classmates Carol and Geraldine . Fresh flowers and a candle will be placed around the photos . * Jane was my roommate during my 1st Year at St. Martha's ~ I can only imagine what she'd be saying to me about this..RIP my friend.

She would be glowing with that wry smile, Sandra. And maybe, she would say nothing. She would be quiet and proud knowing she had good friends and colleagues who truly cared for her

I worked with Jane at the Grace Maternity & IWK. Jane was knowledgeable & steadfast. She rarely missed a day of work & could be counted on when needed. She loved those little babies & nurtured many families under her care. RIP Jane.

For Jane, work wasn’t work. It was her joy and source of pride. Her colleagues, like you, Joanne, and others who have shared memories, were her friends. You gave her peace, respect, dignity, and good times. Thank you for that!

I have so many memories of Jane from working with her at the Grace/IWK. She was such a caring nurse, providing the best care to her families! She could be counted on as a team player, always pitching in to help. No one could settle a baby like Jane! A screaming, crying babe would just stop as soon as Jane picked them up. It was like they knew they were being held and loved by someone who really cared about them! Jane was missed after she stopped working. She was funny, kind, reliable and a good person! My deepest condolences to you all.

I worked with Jane at the Old Grace and IWK until her retirement and was a personal friend for many years. She was a kind and caring nurse, always making her patient’s needs a priority. We spent many good times together and was a loyal and devoted friend. Fly with the angels Jane! RIP.
