Obituary of Sydney Ralph Foley

FOLEY, Sydney Ralph Age 84, of Windsor, passed away Thursday, April 13 at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late St. Clair "Lew" and Elsie (Frizzell) Foley. Sid grew up on the "the island" and in his youth was very active in sports. He was very proud of his time he worked at The Bill Lynch Shows and The Town of Windsor. Sid is survived by his son, Timothy Foley, Whitehorse; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister, Linda and sister-in-law, Charlene Foley, both of Falmouth. Besides his parents, Sid was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia Miles and brothers, St. Clair "Bill" and Frederick Foley. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Dykeland Lodge. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). No visitation by request. A graveside service celebrating Sid's life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18 in Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King St., Windsor.
