Obituary of Paul Alan Wile

Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
WILE, Paul A. Of Timberlea and Wabasca, Alberta. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our father, husband, son, and brother, Pauly. Born on July 30 1974, Paul spent the majority of his life driving trucks and working in the construction industry between Nova Scotia and Alberta. He always prided himself on his excellent driving skills, his reputation for safety and the immaculate upkeep of his equipment. Most recently, Paul was expanding his knowledge and training on new equipment at his workplace in Northern Alberta, a skill he always enjoyed building on. Work and trucks were a passion and interest of Paul's, but there was one more interest that by far surpassed all others: his love and care for his only son, Johnathan. From the moment his boy was born on his 22 birthday, Paul lived and breathed for him. From the younger years where Paul was involved with Johnny's soccer and baseball, up until more recent years where they tinkered with cars and motorcycles, the love between father and son was unmistakable and unbreakable. Paul was very oriented towards his son and family and the care he provided for them, but Paul also lived his life to do for and help all others, often ahead of himself, and this is one of the characteristics that will make everyone miss him so terribly. Since his sudden passing, many stories and memories have been shared across the country by all who knew and loved him. Paul truly touched many lives and many people through his short 41 years. Paul is survived by his only son, Johnathan James, Wabasca, Alberta; his wife and lifelong love, Michelle Rae, Wabasca, Alberta; as well as John, Rae, Matthew, Marcy and Amy, his lifelong family-in-law. Paul is survived by his parents, Alan Wile (Margie) and Linda Asprey (Charlie); sister, Lisa; as well as numerous other family members and family by marriage. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where a Celebration of Paul's life will take place in the at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home's Elmcroft Reception Centre. A separate memorial will be held in Wabasca, Alberta at a later date, as well, a private family burial will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to your nearest Canadian Mental Health Association, a cause very dear to Paul and his family in recent years.
